There is no doubt we are living some challenging time. And it’s up to every one of us to help as little as we can. Beauty brands also stepped in and are supporting and helping out communities during COVID19 times. Below are some of them and the great actions that they have taken.

Essence and Catrice Cosmetics
Essence cosmetics and Catrice Cosmetics have teamed up to donate €500,000 to Doctors Without BordersOpens in a new Window. On top of this, if you share a photo sending a digital kiss on their feed or Instagram Story with the hashtag #kisstance, the brands will donate an additional €5 for up to 1 million Euros.
Our beloved makeup and skin-care products announced on Instagram that it donated all profits earned one day earlier in April to New York City-based front-line workers.
K-beauty brand Glow Recipe announced that they will distribute a variety of skin-care products to hospitals through organizations like Donate Beauty. This comes as a way to show thanks to front-line healthcare workers.
LVMH Moët Hennessy
The group LVMH Moët Hennessy, which owns Louis Vuitton, Fenty Beauty, Benefit Cosmetics, and several other luxury brands, was one of the first beauty companies to announce it would use its facilities to produce hand sanitizer. These will be distributed free-of-cost for French healthcare authorities.
MAC will donate $10 million towards 250 local organizations all over the world, as part of its Viva Glam campaign.
Huda Kattan announced on March 23 that Huda Beauty would donate $100,000 to makeup artists who lost work during the coronavirus outbreak. The money is set to be divided among 100 makeup artists, who would receive $1,000 each.
The list is for sure longer than this, these are just some examples of the beauty brands that are helping out during the COVID19 period.
